All the marbles needed for our 3-inch still:

These hard-to-find marbles are what provide the surface area for alcohol condensation in the still. In our 3" still, one bag of 5/8" marbles and nine bags of 3/8" marbles emptied into the bottom of the condenser section is what you need.

Water Heater To Ethanol Boiler Conversion Kit
 
All the parts you'll need to convert any gas or electric 30-80 gallon water heater into a boiler for ethanol production. You can purchase a new hot water heater at your local store or get a used water heater that can be very inexpensive or even free. With this kit and our instructions, you can turn a standard hot water heater into a necessary part for your ethanol production system. Althought it's not the perfect boiler, it will get you a boiler quicker than any other method. One good thing about the newest hot water heaters is that they are insulated with 2"-3"of closed cell foam insulation. All boilers should be insuated to use as little energy as possible.
